Hi, I’m Joseph.
I am a recent graduate with extensive experience as a creator, storyteller and communicator. This allows me to find new ways to tell stories using visuals, video and audio. These forms allow the digital platform to tell data-driven stories. I am able to explain information clearly, recognize excellence in indviduals, and inspire team members to achieve their potentia while working toward common goals. I build relationships of trust and enlist partipation from all team members. I adapt to changing priorities and maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Emotion is what drives people into action and by telling great stories, it enables us to connect with each other. I grew up with a speech disorder that disrupted the way I was able to communicate with people. As I got older, not only did I overcome this obstacle but I started to realize that I could communicate with people on an emotional intelligence level -- the ability to make emotions work for you instead of against you. Giving me the capability to understand, express and manage, good relationships as well as solve problems under pressure. I can easily recognize a situation and find the best methodologies to diffuse any situation. I was determined to improve my communication with others and made it my life goal to continue to interact with others on an emotional intelligence level and live my life through a people-centered approach. This allowed me to cultivate a culture of putting people first.
